Herein you’ll find the home page of the Principality of Lichtengrein! In the tradition of Charles Grant’s THE WAR GAME this site details the adventures of Prince Rupert of Lichtengrein in the imagi-nation world of the mid eighteenth century.

Whilst focusing on all manner of information pertaining to Lichtengrein, other issues concerning the great nations of Europe will also be covered as well as those of the new world.

Please feel free to pop in and check up on the miniature military events that occur to Prince Rupert’s realm and other surrounding states, great and small.

French Army

Here is the plan for my French army as depicted in Might and Reason. Unfortunately my painters have made a mistake with all the King's drummers so they need to be repainted thus holding up the progress on this army. Otherwise it is painted and awaiting basing.

Pics to follow.

Prussian Army

Prussian Army pics.

Note the base the troops are "sitting on". As all my troops are based on 1" x 1" bases, I use a 2" x 1" cut metal strip that has magnetic tape on it. This enables me to 'clip up' bases for other game systems if they require a larger base, such as Sam Mustafa's Might and Reason rules. See basing for further details on my thoughts on this.
